Jessie

Jessie and her 9 pups were 4 Paws Sake's first dogs!!

Jordie

Hello again! I just wanted to send you a picture of Jordan from Christmas time. She's doing well and is loved by all. She is a very well behaved dog, who just loves being outside. She just loves the snow!!! She's a little smaller than we had expected, but I'm very pleased with her size. She's the perfect size for us. She still loves car rides, and always lets us know when someone is here.

Maddie

We have not written in awhile and I thought you would like to hear from us. Roxy is doing great here. She now has a little brother named Blaze. He is a Lhasa Apso. Even though Roxy is bigger they play great with each other. When we are at work we cage them. We have 2 cages but they always go in the same one with each other. They love to be outside but they also love to chase our 2 cats. She is getting bigger now. We call her "Proper Roxy" because every time she lays down she crosses her front paws. It is really cute. Well, we will keep in touch! Thanks again for giving us Roxy :)

Snickers

Thanks again for introducing Cali into our home.  She is doing really well, she has been going to the bathroom in the house, but that is expected and in time she will learn not to. I taught her to run up the stairs the other day and she is getting more and more use to the leash. She is finally getting use to things and is becoming more playful.  In fact, I don't need the cage anymore, all I have to do is put her up on my couch and she will happily stay there all day.  Well, I just wanted to give you an update on how she was doing, thanks again.

Squirt

From Squirt's new Mom   Squirt is doing great!  She gets bigger every day!  When I had her at the vet last she weighed 13.7 pounds.  She was quite the hit at the vet, they all loved her.  She is really doing well with her training.  She rarely has an accident in the house and does really well in her kennel at night and during the day when the kids are at school.  She loves to go on walks and play with the other dogs in the neighborhood!  Mike is putting in an invisible fence this weekend so she can spend even more time outside when the weather warms up-- if it ever does!!  I will get some pictures to you soon,  but I have to admit that I am horrible about getting film developed so please be patient with me:-)  She goes back to the vet on the first and I would not be at all surprised if she is over 15 pounds then too!  Thanks for giving us a great little puppy, we are definitely enjoying her!

Cocoa

From Cocoa/Woody's new dad:  Cocoa, whose new name is Woody, is now five months old and a happy, healthy puppy. He’s now up to 20 pounds and still growing every day! Woody is very smart and training was a pleasure. In addition to being fully housetrained, he’s learning new tricks every week (it only takes a couple practice sessions for him to learn!). Even though he was the runt of the litter, Woody loves playing with the big dogs, nipping at their ears and stealing their toys. Now that spring is here, Woody loves going to the park and meeting new friends. He also loves to be around people, especially when finding a warm lap to curl up in. He wants to say hello to all his friends at 4 Paws Sake and thank them for giving him a chance at a happy life.  Andi

Bear

Jake(Bear) is doing great.  He is a very good puppy.  He can sit, shake and we are working on stay.  He loves to play fetch.  Missy and Jake love to play with their rope and balls.  They always want the same toy no matter how many toys there are.  He only chews his toys and knows what no means.  He loves the outdoor.  We are putting another gate in our yard so he will have more room to play.  He is growing very fast. We are having a lot of fun with him.  I will be very sad when I can't pick him up and hold him.    Kelly

Torie and her brother Tyler: Torie is a great dog.  She's sweet, affectionate and alot of fun.  She makes us laugh just about every day and is a great companion to Tyler.  She was fully house and crate trained when we adopted her.  Though we still need to get her in training, she's been a fine family member since the beginning.  We feel very lucky to have her and are grateful for 4 Paws Sake's part in matching us up

Gizmo

Gizmo is doing great. According to the vet papers, he was 36 pounds in Feb when you got him. Now he's 48 pounds. He had hookworm when I took him to the vet for the first time. Since then he's worm free and very healthy. We took Gizmo to www.k9usa.co for obedience training. He now knows how to heal, sit, stay, place, wave, play dead and rollover. Gizmo doesn't bark so we couldn't get him to speak and he refuses to crawl. We're starting his first off leash lesson this Friday. We take Gizmo to doggie daycare every so often and he gets along with the other dogs just fine. Gizmo loves everyone, kids, older people, etc. Gizmo has been a true blessing for us. We're looking for a playmate for Giz, a smaller dog who's just as good as Gizmo.

Disa

Sadie (formally known as Disa) is transitioning wonderfully.  She has met every dog and child in our neighborhood.  We couldn't decide what to name her (the boys picked out about 4 names) so Lucas wrote all the names on separate paper and crumbled them into a ball.  We threw the papers into the air and the one she caught was her name, so she picked Sadie.  She also caught on so fast to the Kong toy w/dog food in it.  She mouthed it and tossed it into the air and when a piece of food came out . . . well, it only took once for her to get it! We'll send photos soon.  Thanks, she is a great puppy.

Boomer

When Boomer is hungry he picks up his bowl and brings it to one of them and drops it at their feet. Also, they will tell him to go get a drink of water and he does!Boomer goes for daily walks with the daughter around the block and the neighbors think it's so funny because the last 5 or six houses Boomer and the daughter "race" or run back to the yard.

Their neighbors next door love Boomer too and have bought him a bag of treats so when he's outside they give him a treat when they see him.

Harley

Harley, Woodie, CoCo, and Charlie are doing great.  Harley is eating well now ...  He is swimming  and retrieving tennis balls like a maniac and is now going over all four fly ball jumps.  He needs to learn the box next.  Also he looks like he may be a good frisbee dog.  He still has some issues with being in a crate, but will now go in willingly.  We all will be going on a trip to Nova Scotia ... vacation and to help with a fly ball tournament - Harley's first big trip.  It should be fun.

Cutty

Cutty is a great addition to our family. He loves to run & play in our yard, especially when chasing the rabbits into the neighbor’s yard. He is always there to say hello when we come home and ready to play catch with squeaky toy outside. He enjoys walking in the neighborhood or at the park, sniffing everything along the way. Best of all, he is very patient and gentle with the kids. Thanks Cindy for all your help in adopting Cutty.
